I’m Cold… So Cold

Now… in a softer hour in our room,

How can a Winter Woman flee the titanium moon?

And I will, darling, I still… you make me feel as if I’ll bloom.

All the long horses ride the plain, go home.

How cold the river flows.

I am lonely, long alone.

So I ride a pocket of heartache, but the trail that takes me home

Leaves me with a wanderlust to feel that I am not alone.

But am I not alone?

I, bitter raven, top winter’s hill.

My paper lanterns crackle cold my unchanging will.

You could kill me with good will, rearranging me I’m still

Feral as wild horses, vacant as a bone.

As water turns to ice, I am lonely, long alone.

So I ride a pocket of heartache but the trail that takes me home

It leaves me with a wanderlust to feel that I am not alone,

But am I not alone?

I’m cold. I am cold.

I am cold, so cold.

I am cold; I am cold.

I am so cold, so cold.

I ride a pocket of heartache but the trail that takes me home,

Just leaves me with a wanderlust to feel that I am not alone,

You say I’m not alone? You say I’m not alone.

But I am so alone.

Am I not alone?

Being so cold…
