TOKELI
CONSCIOUSNESS & ART
Introducing:
The Nostalgic Future
by Tokeli Baker
Skeptical artist Tokeli falls down a flight of stairs and rips open the “real world.” Her recovery is marked by high strangeness. She lands in an all-white Egg. A calm presence appears and says it is staying for the rest of her life. A grocery store song warps. Strangers confess their secrets. Ordinary moments land with eerie precision. Then the dead start showing up…and extraterrestrials and Spirit Guides, and a chorus of voices that will not stop.
By the third night, a thunderous rupture opens in the bedroom ceiling and something ancient steps through the portal. Each encounter pulls her deeper into a rabbit hole she cannot explain or escape.
As her psi experiences intensify, so do the consequences. Her marriage strains under a reality only she can see. Her body echoes a frightening family history. The ambitious life she built begins to slip away.
Beneath it all, a structure begins to emerge. A pattern. A system she comes to understand as The Game. It points toward something inevitable: the Nostalgic Future.
Darkly funny, sharply self-deprecating, and impossible to put down, The Nostalgic Future reads like fiction. But every word is true.
The Nostalgic Future will be for sale on October 15, 2026 on Amazon
